Dimensions in millimetres. Bolt hole diameter applies to through-holes. For stud length, gasket and bolting selection, match the gasket and bolts to JIS B2220.
What 5K means in service
JIS 5K is a nominal rating of approximately 0.5 MPa (5 kgf/cm²). The JIS B2220 Table 11 maximum working pressure for material group 1.1, Division I is higher than the nominal figure at up to 120 °C, then derates with temperature; read the table for your material group and division.
JIS K ratings are kgf/cm² nominal: 5K ≈ 0.5 MPa, 10K ≈ 1.0 MPa, 16K ≈ 1.6 MPa, 20K ≈ 2.0 MPa and 30K ≈ 3.0 MPa. The published maximum working pressure is higher or lower than the nominal figure depending on material group and division — for material group 1.1, Division I, the JIS B2220 Table 11 value at up to 120 °C is 0.7 MPa for 5K, 1.4 MPa for 10K, 2.7 MPa for 16K, 3.4 MPa for 20K, 5.1 MPa for 30K, 6.8 MPa for 40K and 10.7 MPa for 63K. Allowable pressure falls with temperature, and JIS bolt patterns differ from ASME classes of similar pressure.
Facing and materials
Raised face (RF) is standard for steel JIS flanges; the raised-face height is 2 mm. Flat face is available on request.

- PMI on stainless and alloy heats; UT/RT on request
- Anti-rust oil, plywood case or pallet, with packing list and MTC
- Typical lead time 7–15 days for carbon steel stock sizes, 20–30 days for alloys
